The new SEAT Leon Estate e-Hybrid is a Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle or PHEV. Like most hybrids, it can recharge the battery automatically but you can also charge the battery by plugging it in. This means it will use the electric motor first and will only resort to the petrol engine for extra power.
To recharge, you simply plug it into a conventional power network. This advanced technology means that the new SEAT Leon Estate e-Hybrid potentially has more range than a pure battery electric car.
The plug-in 85 kW electric engine is combined with a 1.4 litre TSI engine to achieve 204 PS of power. The new SEAT Leon Estate e-Hybrid gets you where you want to go. Choose only electric mode for up to 38 miles* of range or opt for both electric and petrol to work together for a range of up to 497 miles*.
Emergency Assist checks in to see if you need any help. If it detects inactivity, it brakes twice to alert you. If you fail to respond, the system will slow down and bring your car to a stop. Want a fully customised driving experience? Choose how to view your maps, music, route information and driving assistants on a high-definition colour screen. Help is always at hand with Park Assist. Let your New Leon Estate squeeze you in to the tightest of spaces and use the Rear View camera get an all-round view. From your five-inch touchscreen, you can access a new world of entertainment and satellite navigation, allowing you to stream your favourite music via Bluetooth. Smartphone running low? Stay powered up with a wireless charger. Just put your smartphone in the front compartment on your dashboard and your battery can go on. And on. A rear-view camera also helps you park, with ultrasonic sensors positioned on the rear bumper also alerting you if an obstacle appears.

With caravan holidays more popular than ever, more than 40 entrants were made into the annual awards. Entrants were evaluated and assessed by an independent panel of expert judges who carried out full technical specification and vehicle towing capability reviews.
Each car’s ‘Caravanability’ was assessed by evaluating boot load spaces (with the rear seats up and down), roof load limits, along with nose weight limits
